The TRP R-Switch 2.0 is a complete replacement circuit board for the electronics located inside your factory Nissan R35 GTR R-Switch panel. It installs directly inside the original switch assembly, eliminating the need for special adapter harnesses, external control modules, or additional boxes mounted elsewhere in the vehicle. R-Switch 2.0 is compatible with all R35 GTRs from 2007 to 2024.

R-Switch 2.0 was designed to solve two of the most common frustrations associated with the factory R-Switch panel.

Restore Failed or Dim R-Switch Lighting

It is extremely common for the status LEDs and ambient lighting LEDs inside the factory R-Switch panel to become dim, flicker, or fail completely.

After carefully studying how the original switch electronics were designed, we identified two major weaknesses. Nissan utilized lower-quality LEDs and did not incorporate proper voltage regulation into the factory circuit board. Over time, this combination can cause the lighting inside the switch panel to deteriorate or stop working entirely.

R-Switch 2.0 rejuvenates your factory switch panel with high-quality LEDs and a properly engineered voltage regulation system designed to provide stable, reliable operation.

Built-In R-Switch Memory

Never again will you need to reset your R-Switches every time you start the car.

From the factory, the R35 GT-R returns the transmission, suspension, and vehicle dynamics switches to their default positions after the vehicle is restarted. R-Switch 2.0 adds the memory function these switches should have had from the beginning.

Simply set the R-Switches exactly how you prefer them. The next time you start the vehicle, R-Switch 2.0 automatically restores the settings from your previous drive.

R-Switch 2.0 is one of the most technically challenging electronic products our team has developed. Recreating the factory switch functionality, adding memory, integrating proper voltage regulation, and fitting everything within the extremely limited space of the original switch panel required an entirely new circuit board designed from the ground up.

The result is a board that improves upon the original electronics designed for one of Nissan’s most technologically advanced vehicles.

Each R-Switch 2.0 features a sleek black printed circuit board with an ENIG Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold surface finish. This process uses a thin layer of gold over nickel to protect exposed copper surfaces, improve corrosion resistance, and provide a premium, professional finish.
