Here at Special Vehicle Services, we made strides in the Nissan GTR arena with the torque biasing design made exclusively for us between 2003 and 2023 with huge fitments for the BNR32, BCNR33, BNR34, and R35 models. We had already sold the previous brand from 1992 until 2003 solely within the Japanese tuning marketplace, representing and working together with Trust Co. Ltd (GReddy) in the early days. To say we have learned a lot over these 32 years of torque biasing differential supplies would be an understatement with products being created using our own GTR for design, evaluation, and testing.

The torque biasing principle uses internal worm gears to progressively transfer drive from one axle to the other when there is a loss in traction. It does this almost without feeling through the steering wheel which is especially beneficial in front wheel drive vehicles or when installed in front differentials in four-wheel drive vehicles such as the Nissan GTR. 
Anyone who has driven a front wheel drive vehicle using a clutch plate or viscous LSD will understand the amount of difference the torque biasing design makes. Not only to the feel and comfort but more importantly when it matters during spirited driving and track use due to the pure handling improvement, especially over an open differential making it a beneficial upgrade to your vehicle.

The SVS performance unit comprises a super-strong EN24T end plate and the design of a plate pack that always runs with 8 active surfaces, even when set up for the lightest of use it will always give a maximum surface contact area during use. The bevel and planet gear pack has been designed to give the smoothest mesh and has the biggest and strongest tooth profile that our transmission experts have ever been involved with. This eliminates the rattle and excessive backlash that can be found with other plate-type units.
