Over time, the factory fuel pump strainers in the Nissan R35 GT-R can become clogged with dirt and other contaminants, restricting fuel flow and potentially causing fuel delivery issues. While replacing these strainers is recommended as part of routine maintenance, Nissan does not supply them separately and sells only as part of the complete fuel pump assembly.
Our aftermarket replacement kit provides a cost-effective solution, including a pair (2-piece) of high-quality, E85-compatible fuel pump strainers designed to restore proper fuel flow without replacing the entire pump assembly.
As fuel quality can vary between service stations, replacing the strainers is a sensible preventative maintenance item and is highly recommended whenever replacing fuel pumps or upgrading the fuel system on your Nissan R35 GT-R.
Note: Minor modifications are required during installation. The factory filter mounts must be transferred to the new strainers before reassembly. Please refer to the final product image for installation details.
