Damage to the front bumper lip mounting points is a common issue on ageing Nissan GT-R CBA and DBA models. Until now, there has been no simple off-the-shelf repair solution.
When removing the front spoiler lip or undertray for maintenance, the factory mounting tabs and clips on the lower edge of the bumper can easily become damaged or weakened. This often goes unnoticed until the front lip begins to sag or can no longer be securely fastened.
The AMS Performance repair kit restores the damaged mounting points while also reinforcing the area to help prevent future failures. By providing a secure mounting solution, it helps protect your front spoiler from coming loose at high speeds, potentially preventing expensive damage to both the bumper and front lip that could otherwise require complete replacement.
